Who we are

NRD Management is a brand growth company based in Los Angeles. We work with consumer brands that have a real product and a real opportunity, and we build everything around it that turns one into the other.

Our primary niche is consumer packaged goods. Food and beverage, wellness, beauty, lifestyle, and other product based businesses. These categories share a hard truth: shelf space is finite, buyers are conservative, and a brand gets one clean shot at a category review. We build for that reality.

We are not a generalist consulting firm and we are not a freelance shop. We are a small senior team that takes a limited number of brands and goes deep.

The difference

We have done the job we are advising on.

Strategy that survives contact

A positioning platform is easy to write and hard to execute. We write ours knowing we are the ones who have to build the packaging, brief the campaign, and sit in the buyer meeting. That changes what we recommend.

Execution that is actually ours

We produce the work. Identity, packaging direction, campaign assets, sell sheets, launch calendars, forecasts. You are not handed a strategy and left to find three vendors to deliver it.

Economics in every decision

Brand work that ignores margin is decoration. We price the pack, model the contribution, and pressure test trade spend before we commit a design to print.

Senior people on the work

The people in the pitch are the people on the account. We keep the roster small on purpose so that stays true.

Engagement

Three ways in.

01

Sprint

A defined problem with a defined end. Positioning, a launch plan, a packaging system, or a retail readiness audit.

  • Fixed scope and fixed fee
  • Typically four to eight weeks
  • Ends in assets, not a summary
02

Launch

End to end commercialization of a product or a line, from concept through first shipment and the first ninety days on shelf.

  • Strategy, creative, and trade materials
  • Pricing and margin architecture
  • Buyer and distributor preparation
03

Brand management

Ongoing senior leadership embedded in your business, owning the growth plan and running it month to month.

  • Monthly retained engagement
  • Owns the calendar and the numbers
  • Scales with the business
